Aviation Safety Inspector (Air Carrier Maintenance)

Summary Serves as an international Aviation Safety Inspector in the International Program Division within Flight Standards, responsible for supporting, developing and managing the various division responsibilities regarding the monitoring of foreign air carriers. May involve managing a specific program(s) which includes: the IASA program; technical assistance; management reviews; international training; bilateral agreements; and, ICAO initiatives. Responsibilities The incumbent applies expert development and implementation of standards, programs, and procedures for FAA field personnel and the public governing all matters to Air Carrier Maintenance safety issues. The work involves the full range of air carrier maintenance activities relative to public and industry use where applicable.
