Job Overview

1. Provide compassionate and effective leadership to the occupational therapists within the service, locality and sector.
2. Contribute to the overall leadership of the service, locality and sector.
3. Deliver high quality, evidence‑based occupational therapy assessment and interventions, both group and individual, to people with complex needs and their families or carers.
4. Communicate effectively with clinicians, managers, directors, associate directors, carers, stakeholders and agencies.
5. Supervise and mentor occupational therapists within the occupational therapy service.
6. Ensure delivery of occupational therapy student placements.
7. Lead on service development and audits within individual services and the wider occupational therapy service.
