Baker (qualified)

We are looking for a Baker to help us deliver the best customer experience and positively contribute to our team.

The Role

As a Baker, your primary role will be to assist in the day‑to‑day running of the Bakery department, ensuring that a maximum range and sufficient quantity of high quality freshly baked products are available for sale at the correct price at all times during opening hours.

Responsibilities

• Baking required levels of cakes and sweet products, pastries and bread dough
• Merchandising the product in the department and ensuring effective stock rotation through the monitoring of best‑before dates as well as stock‑taking
• Receiving inward goods
• Assisting in serving customers as required
• Assisting in ensuring all appropriate cleaning takes place in the department
• Follow Health and Safety Policy, Food Safety Policy and compliance procedures in the store
