Red River Co-op is recruiting for the position of This position reports to the Bakery Manager. The Bakery Clerk adds value to our Co-operative by delivering world-class customer service that is fast, friendly and efficient.
Essential responsibilities of the position include the following:
Maintain sections of merchandise (commercial bread, in-store baked product, bulk bins) as assigned in an effective manner. Ensure first-in, first-out rotation is followed at all times, and that close-dated product is reported to the Bakery Manager.
Ensure the Bakery Department is properly stocked with merchandise and faced at all times.
Receive, inspect, and store orders upon delivery to ensure all product is immediately stored in proper temperature-controlled environment.
Package baked goods including bread, buns, cookies, etc.
