Band 2 Dietetic Clinical Support Worker

Part‑time (30 hours per week), Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Primary location: Brierfield Health Centre. The role also requires providing remote cover for other clinical support worker teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for patients contacting the Dietetic department.
• Ensure urgent patient requests are managed in a timely manner and notify the relevant Dietitian.
• Support Dietitians with patient preparation for clinics, patient groups, domiciliary visits and telephone reviews.
• Follow up on Dietitian requests after patient reviews (e.g., send relevant diet sheets, tube replacement parts or outcomes of nutritional supplement trials).
• Input data and complete clinic records for specialist clinics.
• Undertake general administrative duties to support the clinical teams.
