Opportunity Description
We are now recruiting for a Band 5/6 Mental Health Practitioner (MHP) to join a well-established NHS trust based in Rossendale, Lancashire on a locum contract. The role is available to start ASAP, working full-time hours for a 1-month period.
The successful Practitioner will be working on an Older Adult Mental Health Service, carrying out management of a defined caseload using specialist knowledge and advanced clinical reasoning to undertake assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care programs. The successful practitioner will take an active role in the holistic assessment and treatment of adults who present to the service with mental health problems and especially those that are at risk of or have attempted deliberate self-harm.
