Opportunity Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Camden Pain Service (CPS) which serves patients who have a long-term pain condition e.g. chronic lower back pain, chronic widespread pain, fibromyalgia.

Although having previous experience of working in pain management services would be advantageous for this post, we would welcome applications from Clinical Psychology Trainee's completing their final year of the doctorate programme in September 2026, particularly if they have had specialist clinical health placements.

Main duties of the job

You'll be working under the supervision of a Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologist to deliver psychological assessment and intervention (1:1 and group pain management programmes based on CBT/ACT/CFT) for this cohort of patients.

You'll also be supporting the wider multidisciplinary team and liaising with relevant external community services e.g. Talking Therapies, MSK services, community mental health teams.
