Job overview

To participate in and develop out dispensing services Trustwide, to meet the needs of the users of the service and the required standards of professional and legislative practice.

Main Responsibilities

1.To participate in, manage and develop all Trust out-patient dispensing services in line with the pharmacy and Trust strategy.

2.To ensure timely and efficient delivery of out-patient services responding to changes in national, local or Trust strategic direction or operational challenges.

3.To direct and control the work of staff accountable and ensure that this work is carried out safely and efficiently and respond promptly and appropriately to any new guidance.
