Boutique midtown NYC law firm seeking a Bankruptcy Attorney with 3 - 5+ years’ experience. The candidate should be available to attend court appearances in New York City. Admission to the NJ bar is a plus.

Requirements:

Experience with:

• Chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcy proceedings
• Commercial collections and enforcement actions
• Loan workouts and restructuring
• Litigation involving secured and unsecured creditors

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice in New York
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in bankruptcy and creditors’ rights
• Strong litigation and negotiation skills
• Excellent legal research and writing abilities
• Ability to manage multiple matters independently
• Flexibility for court appearances
• Excellent writing skills
