Responsibilities
- Greet clients and understand their needs
- Provide consultation on hairstyles and grooming techniques
- Cut, trim and shape hair according to clients’ preferences
- Style and finish hair using various techniques and products
- Shave beards and mustaches using traditional barbering techniques
- Perform scalp treatments and massages
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment
- Handle cash transactions and book appointments
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a barber or cosmetologist preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of different hair cutting techniques, styles and products
