Barista

Overview

A barista is responsible for preparing and serving coffee, espresso drinks, and other beverages to customers in a coffee shop or café setting. They create a positive customer experience by providing friendly service, maintaining a clean workspace, and ensuring the quality of drinks. Baristas are also responsible for taking orders, handling payments, and keeping the café environment clean and organized.

Responsibilities

1. Prepare and Serve Beverages: Make and serve a variety of coffee drinks (espresso, cappuccino, latte, etc.) and other beverages, ensuring high quality and consistency.


2. Customer Service: Greet customers, take their orders, and provide recommendations on menu items or special drinks. Answer any questions customers may have about the menu.


3. Handle Payments: Process payments through cash, credit/debit cards, or digital payment methods, and provide change or receipts as needed.
