Batch Weigher - 1st Shift

We are seeking a Batch Weigher to work on the manufacturing process of high-quality printing ink. INX makes the ink on 95% of all beer and beverage cans manufactured in the United States. We will train right candidate on the job and on TPM activities. As a Batch Weigher, you will be responsible for:

• Weighing batches as planned and assigned by the Supervisor using personal protective equipment (gloves, apron, glasses, dust mask, etc.), if required
• Following the directions on the batch ticket and taking batch tickets back to the lab for inspection when there appears to be an error
• Selecting the proper mixing tub for the batch (size and previous color) and making sure it is clean
• Checking the raw material inventories to ensure that all ingredients for the batch are available before beginning to weigh the batch.  Notifying Supervisor of any unusual differences in raw material.  If appropriate,...
