Job Description

The newly revitalized Hospitalist service at the Battlefords Union Hospital, known as the Connected Inpatient Care (CIC) Team is seeking more Hospitalists to join our team! The Family Physician Hospitalist will provide those Physician Services related specifically to the practice of CIC Services in accordance with their training and SHA privileges. The Physician will act as the Most Responsible Physician (MRP) for patients admitted to the identified CIC. The typical patient to physician ratio will be up to 24:1, understanding that there may be variation based on admission and discharge timing and patient complexity and acuity. CIC Services is a physician coverage model whereby the Physician provides service in the capacity of the Most Responsible Physician for patients admitted into the service.
