Behind the Wheel Instructor

**POSITION SUMMARY:** The primary role of the Behind the Wheel Instructor (BTWI) is to make sure new drivers are ready for the road and can safely and effectively apply their new driving skills. With safety being the Company’s number one priority, the BTWI will provide critical feedback to management, who will determine whether drivers are ready to perform their jobs or need additional training. The BTWI must have the ability to develop rapport and be patient with new drivers. The BTWI will serve as a role model and mentor to new drivers. The BTWI’s primary goal is to develop new drivers to be safe, efficient and deliver customer zeal.

**PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:**

+ Acclimates new drivers to the physical and environmental demands of the job during Job Shadowing.
+ Provide the new employee with foundational industry knowledge to include but not limited to:
