The Behavioral Health Clinician (BHC) position is situated within a primary care environment, where the Behavioral Health Clinician (BHC) plays a crucial part in evaluating and delivering services or making referrals for patients identified by their primary care and specialty care providers. The Behavioral Health Clinician provides both brief assessments as well as traditional evaluation and assessments for various behavioral health and case management challenges, which encompass a range of issues such as depression, anxiety, oppositional or conduct disorders, suicidal thoughts, attention deficits, hyperactivity, bullying behaviors, post-traumatic stress disorder, substance abuse, severe emotional disturbances, and the management of chronic illnesses.
