Opportunity Description
The BIM Engineer (LOD 350) will lead the development and management of high-fidelity 3 D models of tower structures (telecom/utility). The focus is on creating accurate, construction-grade digital twins that integrate detailed structural connections, component data, and Io T sensor data to support structural analysis, predictive maintenance, and operational lifecycle management.
Key Responsibilities
LOD 350 Modelling & Data Integration: Develop and maintain 3 D models at LOD 350, ensuring accurate representation of tower components (lattice, monopoles, mounts) and their precise connections with other systems (antennas, mounts, cables).
As-Built Documentation: Transform laser scan data/point clouds into detailed 3 D Revit models to create highly accurate as-built digital twins.
Clash Detection & Resolution: Perform multidisciplinary clash detection to ensure, and validate, that new equipment fits within the existing structure without conflicts before deployment.
