Job Summary The
Programme for Research in Epidemic Preparedness and REsponse (PREPARE)
is a national programme set up by the Ministry of Health to strengthen Singapore's capability to respond to future infectious disease threats. You will support the bioinformatics work required to establish a metagenomics platform for the identification and detection of emerging pathogens. Main Duties And Responsibilities SPECIFIC Develop and maintain bioinformatics tools and pipelines related to metagenomic sequencing for identification and detection of emerging pathogens. Initial focus would be on viral pathogens, with eventual expansion to other pathogens and scopes of analyses. Perform metagenomic sequencing data analysis and report key results. Work closely with the research team for analysis pipeline improvements and interpretation of results.
