Boilermaker/ Welder

Position Overview The tasks carried out by this position will include, but are not limited to the repair and fabrication of earthmoving machinery and their components, Along with being accountable for maintaining and repairing equipment in a safe, efficient and competent manner, specifically marking out, cutting, shaping, assembling and fixing metal to produce or repair equipment as instructed by the fabrication department supervisor and or leading hand. Requirements Essential Criteria Heavy mobile plant maintenance experience Relevant experience working within the Industrial, Civil or Mining sectors Current Work Safe Licence for Forklift Desirable Criteria Australian HR Drivers Licence Working at Heights Confined Space Arc Air Gouging and Thermal Lancing experience Proficient in MMAW, FCAW, GMAW and Oxy Fuel Cutting Refurbish/rebuild loader buckets, dump truck trays and excavator booms, sticks and buckets and other mobile plant and equipment Fabricate handrails, platforms and ladders ...
