About the Role

Ahrens Group – Steel SA takes pride in delivering high-quality structural steel solutions, and we are looking for skilled Boilermakers and Welders to join our team at our well-established steel fabrication facility based in Kingsford, South Australia.

In this role, you will be working on precision fabrication and welding of structural steel components for major projects.

Key Responsibilities


  • Read and interpret drawings, work orders, and production schedules to determine job requirements.
  • Safely operate manual and semi-automatic welding equipment to meet specifications and Australian Standards.
  • Set up and use fabrication tools and equipment, including welding machines, grinders, and carbon rod gauging tools.
  • Label, sort, and organise plate materials into product groups.
  • Mark out, cut, drill, or punch holes in plate materials as per fabrication drawings.
