Our client in the automotive sector is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join their team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full bookkeeping function, ensuring accurate financial processing, reconciliations, and reporting while working on automotive dealership systems.

Description:

• Perform full bookkeeping functions up to trial balance.


• Process creditors and debtors accurately and timeously.


• Manage daily cashbook processing and bank reconciliations.


• Process supplier invoices, journals, and payments.


• Reconcile creditor and debtor accounts.


• Assist with monthly management accounts preparation.


• Manage vehicle stock reconciliations and related financial controls.


• Process and reconcile floorplan accounts.


• Handle VAT submissions and ensure SARS compliance.
