BORDER LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER: GROBLERSBRIDGE

The successful candidates will be expected to perform the following: Conduct regular patrols and surveillance of assigned areas to detect and deter potential security threats and illegal activities.  Monitor and control access points, ensuring only authorized individuals are granted entry while maintaining a welcoming and secure environment. Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and alarms, taking appropriate action to resolve situations and ensure the safety of individuals and property. Enforce security protocols, rules, and regulations, ensuring compliance and taking corrective measures as necessary. Maintain a high level of alertness and situational awareness to identify suspicious activities, behaviors, or items that could pose a threat to individuals or national security. Conduct security screenings, including bag checks, metal detector operation, and other necessary measures to prevent unauthorized items from entering restricted areas.
