We're working with a specialist educational setting in Sunderland that is looking to recruit a BSL Learning Support Assistant for a full-time role starting in September.

The setting provides tailored support to pupils with hearing impairments and communication needs, helping them achieve both academically and personally within a supportive school environment.

We're looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual who can use their BSL skills to make a lasting impact on pupils' educational experiences.

What you'll be doing

• Providing classroom support through British Sign Language
• Supporting pupils with communication, learning and social interaction
• Working on a 1:1 basis and with small groups of pupils
