Budget Analyst - Direct Hire

Summary This position is a Budget Analyst role in the FTA Budget Office. The main responsibility is to help develop and manage the agency's budget. The role includes supporting budget planning, tracking and reporting on spending, and helping ensure funds are used effectively. It also involves forecasting, financial planning, and monitoring program performance, as well as providing analysis and insights to support leadership in understanding budget and program status. Responsibilities As the Budget Analyst, you will: Support the development and justification of multi-million-dollar program budgets. Interpret and applying relevant budget guidance, policies, and financial standards. Develop budget narratives, reports, and briefing materials for senior leadership and external stakeholders.
