Building Control Manager

The Building Control environment is rapidly changing and evolving in a post Grenfell World. To help shape the service of the future, gain experience, and provide continuity you will be working alongside the current Building Control Manager who will support the successful candidate. We are looking for a seasoned building control practitioner capable of taking the service forward in the future. Your task will be to develop and manage the Building Control Service in partnership with the current manager and senior colleagues.

You will need to be forward thinking, driven and creative, capable of developing and delivering the service of the future, looking for better and smarter ways to work ensuring that the service delivers on the impending regulatory requirements and outcomes of the Building Safety Act whilst maximising opportunities for income generation and ensuring that the service is the provider of choice in the open market building control world.
