Opportunity Description
SUMMARY
The Business Development Manager is responsible for outside sales, focusing on building and maintaining strong client relationships within the assigned territory. This role involves regular in-person client visits, serving as the primary point of contact, and delivering tailored technical proposals that address client-specific challenges. The business development manager leads sales planning, prospecting, and pipeline forecasting, while also managing RFQ/RFP submissions and contract reviews in coordination with internal stakeholders. They are accountable for maintaining accurate sales records in Salesforce, supporting collections, and contributing to marketing and industry events. Success in this role requires strong relationship‑building skills, a solutions‑oriented mindset, and the ability to collaborate across departments to meet client needs and business objectives.
