Business Development Officer

The Business Development Officer manages Merbau Corporation’ s customer and partner accounts, follows up on leads, and supports the development of commercial proposals and offer sheets for solar renewable projects.

The role also supports external relations initiatives by monitoring energy‑related laws, regulations, and policies impacting project development and compliance.

The ideal candidate is commercially driven, analytical, and knowledgeable in the Philippine power and renewable energy sectors, with strong communication skills and familiarity with regulatory bodies such as DOE, ERC, NGCP, PEMC, IEMOP, DENR, and LGUs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Social Sciences, Legal Management, Political Science, Public Policy, Engineering, or related fields.
