About the role

An opportunity has arisen for the appointment of a Business Support Officer to join the Business Support Team for the Electrical Engineering Team, based at our Leeming Bar Depot. The role involves providing high quality, professional support to a range of operational teams within the Environment Service, liaising with internal and external customers. You must be able to prioritise demanding workloads and work effectively as part of a team to ensure deadlines are achieved.

This position offers an introduction to how the Business Support and Electrical Engineering teams work together, supporting the community and an opportunity to develop knowledge and understanding that may lead to further development in Business Support or a career within the Electrical Engineering teams.
