Buyer

Adecco is seeking a detail-oriented Buyer to manage purchasing activities, supplier relationships, and inventory performance at a local plastics manufacturer in Boise, ID. This role works cross-functionally with supply chain, engineering, and operations teams to ensure timely, cost-effective procurement and support production needs.

**Responsibilities**

+ Create, manage, and track purchase orders and requisitions
+ Maintain optimal inventory levels through forecasting and demand planning
+ Analyze trends, historical data, and “what-if” scenarios to guide purchasing decisions
+ Monitor supplier performance (cost, quality, and lead times) and support negotiations
+ Maintain accurate vendor, purchasing, and order data in internal systems
+ Collaborate with internal teams on production and engineering requirements
+ Support supplier setup, issue resolution, and ongoing relationship management
