Independently purchases assigned materials, supplies, and equipment for a program team in accordance with company policies and procedures to meet company objectives. Provides resource knowledge, recommendations, and direction to program teams. Completes duties and responsibilities with the support of purchasing management.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Generally assigned to high complexity commodities.
• Develops and utilizes knowledge of commodities and supplier cost structures to achieve cost reduction and price negotiation objectives, including but not limited to market testing, resourcing, VA/VE activities, and target pricing in conjunction with Strategic Purchasing objectives.
