Calculation Design Engineer - Structures & Enclosures

**Job Description Summary**
You will be in charge of engineering activities for the GE Vernova gas turbine acoustic enclosure for GE Vernova’ gas/steam turbines. This system is critical to achieve ventilation and noise requirement (standard or customer request).
You will join a global engineering team that is part of the Mechanical CoE.

This is a cross-functional role to:
•Perform calculation for enclosures structure or review internal design calculation or approve calculation report delivered by supplier to validate their design.
•Depending on load assessment, you could also:
oCreate and Deliver specifications and BOMs for the projects, and drawings with Drafting team support.
oCollaborate with suppliers.
oProvide technical assistance to the sites.
•cover all stages of the life cycle of the product starting from NPI and ITR to field issue resolution.
