Calibration Tech 1

Primary Responsibility:

Perform and document calibration activities including inspection, measurement and test equipment for all gauges, instrumentation and devices used to measure the quality of incoming raw materials and manufactured materials. Perform corrective actions to address identified measurement problems. Adapt equipment, standards, and procedures to accomplish unique measurements and maintain calibration standards. This position may also be responsible for the documentation of all procedures, work instructions and forms used for any of the gauges, instruments and devices.


Skill: Acquires job skills and learns company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks.

Job Complexity: Works on assignments that are routine in nature, requiring limited judgment. Has little or no role in decision-making.

Supervision: Normally receives detailed instructions on all work. Works under close supervision.
