Purpose of the position

Reporting to the CAM Technical Leader, the CAM Technician role is responsible for translating approved digital templates and CAD drawings into accurate, efficient CNC programs to support the production of precision-engineered granite worktops. Working within the manufacturing team at our Newton Aycliffe facility, this role ensures optimal material usage, machine efficiency, and adherence to quality standards. The CAM programmer also collaborates closely with CAD technicians, production teams, and external partners to resolve any discrepancies in templating or specifications, ensuring seamless workflow and consistent delivery of right‑first‑time (RFT) products.
