Cambridge City HC: Men's Club Session Coach

Cambridge City Hockey Club, Cambridge, CB3 0EQ, is seeking a Men's Club Session coach to deliver a combined session for the Men's 3rd, 4th and 5th XI teams. The sessions are held on Wednesday evenings from 20:00 to 21:30 at Wilberforce Road.

The club’s training caters to a broad mix of abilities, from first‑time players to national‑league and current Masters international athletes. Sessions are competitive and expect players to commit to intense training.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have proven experience in technical coaching, basic theories of attack and defence, and the ability to empower players to contribute to the team dynamic. The coaching team is supported by captains and committee members who attend sessions. The teams include adults and juniors, former senior internationals, current masters internationals, and Talent Centre and Academy athletes.
