Canteen Cookers - Urgently needed

Location Requirement: Must be based in Meadowlands.

• Food preparation: Wash, cut, and prepare ingredients for cooking.
• Cooking meals: Prepare a variety of dishes in bulk according to a set menu (e.g., rice, stews, vegetables, meat dishes, soups).
• Portion control: Serve food in the correct quantities to ensure consistency and cost control.
• Menu execution: Follow daily or weekly menus planned by a head cook, chef, or manager.
• Hygiene and safety: Maintain strict cleanliness in the kitchen, including utensils, surfaces, and cooking areas, following food safety regulations.
• Stock handling: Assist in receiving, storing, and managing food supplies and ingredients.
• Cleaning duties: Wash dishes, clean cooking equipment, and keep the kitchen tidy after service.
• Assisting team members: Support other kitchen staff during busy meal times.
