Opportunity Description
Overview
The Carbon Budget Scientist (in MPOC) is part of the NERC-funded ABC-fluxes project (Atlantic BiogeoChemical fluxes – You will synthesise Argo data, GO-SHIP observations and data from moored sensors and samplers on the RAPID array at 26.5°N to understand the strength and variability of nutrient and carbon transports across the section and their controls of ocean carbon uptake in the North Atlantic. You should have experience of analysing biogeochemical and/or physical observations.
Term
This is a Fixed Term Appointment, with funding on a full-time basis for three years offered on NERC terms and conditions and open to internal and external candidates. We welcome applications for full and part-time working.
