manages, monitors, and troubleshoots implanted cardiac devices (pacemakers, ICDs) by performing in-person and remote interrogations

Job Summary:

Cardiac Device Technician will provide thorough, proficient interrogation, re-programming of Cardiac Implantable Electronic device (CIED) commonly known as pacemakers and ICDs to name a few. These cardiac device patients may present in person, remotely, and/or via phone transmission. Technicians may be responsible for initial device analysis, preliminary report generation, and alerting physician or non-physician practitioner to urgent issues requiring further attention.

Essential Responsibilities:

+ Interrogates, reprograms and performs function analysis of Cardiac Implantable Electronic Device (CIED) programming per physician orders and under supervision of Physician or mid-level provider as an NP or PA.
