36 or 48hr/wk, DEN rotation, weekends, holidays and on call per unit need

The Adult Cardiac OR cares for a wide variety of patients, including CABG's, TAVI's, and Heart Failure (VAD's, ECMO, Artificial Heart, and Heart Transplants) to name a few. Using a multidisciplinary approach, the OR staff cares for patients of all ages. The Surgical Technologist will provide technical knowledge in preparing instruments, equipment, and supplies for surgical procedures and assists the surgical team from the scrub position during an operation. Responsible for proper care and handling of instruments and facilitating room turnover between cases. Maintains sterile technique, safe handling of sharps, and performance of surgical counts as per hospital policy.
