Cardiothoracic Intensivist

**Job Summary and Responsibilities**

As our Intensivist for our Cardiothoracic ICU with the Norton Thoracic Institute at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center, you will provides advanced medical care for the hospitalized patients in the CICU so they can achieve optimal recovery and improved outcomes.

In this role, you will provide exceptional, cutting-edge critical care for a diverse patient population within the CICU. You will be expected to manage cardiovascular, thoracic/esophageal surgical, and cardiac patients, including those with advanced circulatory support devices like ECMO and Impellas, and participate in a Cardiovascular Shock Team.

To be successful in this role, you will be board certified or board eligible, possess strong critical care skills, demonstrated teamwork ability, and experience or a keen interest in managing advanced circulatory support devices, along with the potential for academic involvement.
