Join northern/central Maine’s center for cardiothoracic surgery! Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center is seeking an acute care nurse practitioner or physician associate to join our well-respected, dynamic program in the city of Bangor, Maine .
Details & Responsibilities:
+ Candidates must have at least two years of experience in cardiothoracic surgery or in the cardiovascular ICU
+ 4-day workweek makes for a great work/life balance
+ Collaboration with structural heart, critical care, and thoracic oncology
+ Daily rounds in the CVICU and stepdown units
+ Manage critically ill post op cardiac and thoracic surgery patients, including hemodynamic interpretation and medication management within the CVICU
+ Develop and implement patient management plans independently and in collaboration with surgeons
+ Assist surgeons in the O.R. and perform minor procedures at bedside
