Organization and Management

• Provide basic nursing care that aligns with the vision, mission, philosophy, goals, and objectives of the nursing services and the hospital.
• Notify the nursing leaders of any situations that impact the quality of care.
• Obtain ward report and assignment at the beginning of each shift and perform additional tasks as assigned by the Unit Manager or Senior Registered Nurse.
• Conduct regular nursing rounds to assess patients’ needs and communicate with them and their families.
• Prepare and tidy beds, reclining chairs, linens, and other facilities before arrival of patients.
• Provide drinks for patients and collect cups and meal trays after use.
• Keep patients comfortable by providing blankets, positioning them, and switching on TV or radio as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of the unit area, store, fridge, and associated facilities.
