Opportunity Description
The incumbent will assist the Registered Nurses/Enrolled Nurses to provide basic care for patients in inpatient areas.
Job Responsibilities General Hygiene and Patient Care Activities- Attend to patients’ call bells
- Assisting patients with elimination needs, includes application of ursheath
- Apply anti-embolism stockings
- Prepare patient for physical examination and/or other procedures
- Change bed linen and patient’s clothing
- Perform assisted baths
- Perform perineal skin care
- Perform last offices
- Assists with lifting, transferring, positioning and transporting of patients
- Document intake and output
- Order patients' meals
- Serve patients' meals and perform oral feeding
- Remove nasogastric tube (NGT)
- Assist to feed patient via NGT/ PEG
- Perform continuous tube feeding
