Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, plywood, and other materials as per the project's requirements.
- Blueprint and Technical Drawing Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine the specifications and materials required.
- Knowledge of construction materials and techniques
- Plan the layout of structures based on the project’s design and specifications.
- Maintain carpentry tools and equipment in good working order.
- Ensure all work is carried out with precision and in line with safety regulations.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to health and safety regulations, including using protective equipment and ensuring a safe working environment.
- Prepare job sites by clearing debris, setting up tools, and gathering materials.
