The Journeyperson Carpenter is responsible for the contribution to the development of highly energy efficient homes crafted with sustainable materials. role requires proficiency in reading blueprints, measuring accurately, and using a range of hand and power tools to shape and assemble wood and other materials. The Carpenter works both independently and as part of a team, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and with high-quality craftsmanship. This position reports directly to the Site Supervisor. This position requires flexibility to travel and work at various construction sites throughout British Columbia, often with extended shifts and overtime.

KEY RESPONSIBLITIES

• Construct and install structures and fixtures (frameworks, partitions, joists, studs, rafters, stairways, doors, windows, cabinets).
• Measure and mark cutting lines using rulers, chalk, and marking tools.
