Job Summary You will inspect, dismantle, repair, and custom-build woodwork and structures, interpreting renovation plans and ensuring compliance with client requirements and local building codes. Responsibilities Inspect existing structures to identify repair or modification needs Interpret renovation plans, drawings, and client requirements accurately Dismantle old structures such as cabinets, walls, and flooring safely Measure, cut, and install new materials to fit existing spaces precisely Repair damaged woodwork, frameworks, and fixtures to restore functionality Custom-build cabinets, wardrobes, and shelving to client specifications Apply knowledge of local building codes to ensure compliance in all tasks Required competencies and certifications Knowledge of local building codes Preferred competencies and qualifications Strong carpentry and woodworking skills demonstrated through renovation or remodeling projects Hands-on experience in renovation or remodeling projects
