Cast Tech I (Hiring Immediately)

Cast techs will apply splints, casts, DME and provide wound care along with other patient care items pertaining to injury, post-op care. Cast techs are responsible for educating the patient/family member/care giver on cast care, wound care and DME fitting and application, and explain patient responsibility for DME, work proficiently in Motion MD. Other duties include cast removal, splint removal, suture and staple removal. Cast techs are responsible for sweeping up debris from the work area, clearing and cleaning tables when necessary to keep the cast room in a clean state for treating patients. Maintain OSHA compliance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

• Assist physicians with daily patient care activities
• Responsible for ensuring clinic cleanliness and orderly inventory and storage of all DME and clinical supplies, assist with maintaining proper reorder levels.
