Sitting on King Street smack bang in the middle of Newtown, The Bank is an Inner West institution where everybody is welcome. A safe space for all, a home to live music in Sydney, a place to feast with friends, a place to catch up over a few beers a place to celebrate. There is always plenty happening at The Bank.

Situated above The Bank, Waywards brings live music to Newtown every Friday and Saturday night. We are proud to be the home of a live music institution and support up-and-coming artists, local icons and historical favourites to perform and support each other and the Australian music community. 

From burgers and steaks to an almighty schnitty, our menu showcases seasonal pub fare and keeps our patrons coming back for more.
