Category Management Expert (ST Telemedia Global Data Centre Philippines)

Responsibilities

• Category Strategy Development: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to understand industry trends, supplier landscape, and cost drivers within assigned categories. Develop and implement comprehensive category strategies that align with overall business objectives and procurement goals. Identify potential risks and opportunities within categories and develop mitigation/exploitation plans.
• Sourcing and Negotiation: Lead sourcing initiatives, including RFx (RFI, RFP, RFQ) development and execution. Evaluate supplier proposals, conduct negotiations, and select preferred suppliers based on total cost of ownership and value proposition. Negotiate and establish frame agreements with strategic suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
