Category Manager - Fishery & Butchery

We are seeking an experienced Category Manager – Butchery & Fishery to lead and oversee the fresh meat and seafood category within a retail environment. The role is responsible for developing and executing category strategies that drive sales, profitability, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction across fresh meat, poultry, seafood, and related products.

Role Summary

The successful candidate will manage assortment planning, pricing strategies, supplier relationships, promotional activities, and inventory optimization while ensuring compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards. This role requires strong commercial acumen, analytical capability, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams including marketing, supply chain, and store operations.
