Catering Supervisor B

Cityserve: Catering Supervisor – St Saviours Primary School, Alum Rock Road, Birmingham. B8 1JB

Grade B, £28,598 – £34,434 per annum, pro rata to hours worked.

Working 36.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday term time only. Daily hours to be confirmed. Includes 3 cleaning days, 3 training days and 5 teacher training days.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking freshly made meals for pupils, including conveying to another site
• Planning and controlling all aspects of the service
• Keeping the kitchen clean & tidy
• Costing, stocktaking and keeping appropriate records using Saffron and IT skills
• Learning and Oracle
• Staff training
• Maintaining a menu with balanced diets and allergen control
• Being aware of the care users’ needs and dietary preferences
• Collaborating with managers and supervisors to ensure first-class delivery of food in school kitchens
