Relief Personal Assistant (Female)

I am a chatty lady living in Pontprennau area of Cardiff who has cerebral palsy and is visually impaired. I use an electric wheelchair to get around and all physical transfers are done via a ceiling track hoist. I need full assistance with personal care and dressing.

Assistance is required with housework, food preparation and all aspects of daily living, including accessing the wider community. I am a lively, social outgoing lady who enjoys music, theatre, cinema, and socialising with family and friends. I have lived in my own home since 2005 in 24‑hour care.

Purpose of the Job

As well as full personal care I need support with activities within my home and accessing the wider community.

Place of Work

I live in Pontprennau, Cardiff, in 24‑hour care supported by my PAs.
